Lets journey back in time to where the adventure first began..

It was during the summer of 1996,up in the mountains of Kula,Maui,Hawaii. I had a phone call from a good friend barbara (who wrote the Maui Onion Cookbook and now Aloha book),asking me to help her find a stuffed animal for her Onion gift basket..At the time Me and another close friend had a gift basket company..

Without hesitation I started to search for an onion plush doll..Well there were none to be found…However, I always had many stuffed animals around(as a child I loved my stuffed animals), so I began to look at the tags on each of the dolls and called each company..No onion items…

This is where the idea to create my own plush doll comes in..I was sitting outside on my deck,overlooking three Islands( as the sun was setting), when it came to me.. Why don’ t I just create my own stuffed animal..So I called all the plush manufactures again and asked I they would work with me…Only two said yes,that was more than enough..

I was so excited that I called barbara and told her of my idea..She thought it was great and wished me luck…This would be the beginning of an adventure into the world of the plush toy…
